Glen Golf Club
Glen Golf Club is one of the most popular golf courses in East Lothian and certainly one not to be missed.
The Glen is the East Links at North Berwick with the West Links being North Berwick Golf Club which is a Championship course.
The course lies on the coast of East Lothian 25 miles east of the capital city of Edinburgh, in the town of North Berwick.
First laid out in 1894 it comprised of only 9 holes and 1906 it was extended to 18 holes by James Braid and Ben Sayers. This was James Braid's' first venture into golf course design.
Measuring 6275 yards, it boasts a breathtaking cliff top location which creates a large number of spectacular holes.
The course has magnificent views across the Firth of Forth, it's islands and the Bass Rock.
The Glen Golf Club has some stunning holes and is worth looking at to include in a Scotland Golf Tour.
