Gleneagles Queens Course

Gleneagles Queens Course

Gleneagles Queens Course is a Par 68 course measuring 5,965 yards and one of the most scenic heathland golf courses in Scotland.

The Queen's Course has a long history and has played host to some of the world's golfing greats including Tom Watson, Lee Trevino, Greg Norman, Johnny Miller and the late Severiano Ballesteros.

Gleneagles Queen's Course threads its way through ridges on the north and west sides of the magnificent Gleneagles Hotel offering some wonderful woodland settings with lochans, ditches and water hazards adding to its Moorland characteristics.

Lee Trevino once said of the Queen's Course - If heaven is as good as this, I sure hope they have some tee times left.

Gleneagles golf options include an addition 2 championship courses, the Kings and the PGA Centenary Course, the latter hosting the 2014 Ryder Cup matches. The combination of the majestic Gleneagles Hotel and 3 wonderful championship golf courses make this an ideal venue to include in a golf trip to Scotland.

On a personal note, Gleaneagles Queens Course is my favourite of the three.
