Irvine Golf Club

Irvine Golf Club

Irvine Golf Club lies on the west coast of Scotland.

It sits alongside Open Championship courses such as Prestwick, Troon and Turnberry.

Established in 1887 it was designed by James Braid and is one of Scotland's hidden gems.

Held in high regard by the R&A it is regularly used for Final Open Qualifying.

This occurs when the Open Championship is held at either Royal Troon or Turnberry Ailsa.

In addition to Open Final Qualifying, it has also hosted a number of prestige competitions.

Commonly known as Irvine Bogside and set in a seaside location it is a traditional Scottish links golf course.

Irvine has tight fast running fairways, whin bushes, blind shots, well placed bunkers and true fast running greens. All of theses features make it a great test of golf.

Irvine Golf Club also has magnificent panoramic views across to Arran and is highly recommended by Meridian Golf Tours.
