Peterhead Golf Club

Peterhead Golf Club

Peterhead Golf Club, which was established in 1841 making it the 18th oldest golf club in the world.

The clubs' history is amongst the elite of Scotland.

Along with Fraserburgh, Cruden Bay, Murcar, Royal Aberdeen and Trump Aberdeen, Peterhead allows the north east of Scotland to boast a group of the best golf courses in Scotland.

The Old Course was designed in 1892 by Willie Park Junior, twice a winner of the Open Championship.

The course provides spectacular, panoramic views of the River Ugie, the unspoilt sand dunes and the beaches.

The Old Course provides a golfing challenge to golfers of all standards.

The prevailing weather conditions are a major factor to its degree of difficulty.

After negotiating the "Valley Holes" and battled to the 18th, you will receive a warm welcome in the modern clubhouse.

Butch Harmon played at Peterhead on a visit to Scotland in 2005.

He described it as a hidden gem and commented that he had really enjoyed playing the course.

Peterhead Golf Club is a great addition to any Scotland Golf Tour.
